Your College Network Is More Powerful Than You Think

If you’re in college, this one is for you. Please, do not underestimate the power of your network.

I know you have a million things going on—classes, internships, social life—and thinking long-term isn’t always top of mind. But something I wish someone had told me 10 years ago is this: the people around you right now are going to do really incredible things.

The girl in your sorority, the guy in your business class, your teammate on the soccer team, the people you’re working on group projects with—they’re all going to graduate and start building careers at companies you may want to work at one day.

And it’s not about being transactional or keeping score. It’s about staying connected in a way that feels real. Supporting each other, checking in, celebrating wins, and genuinely being part of each other’s journeys.

Over time, those relationships become your network. And your network becomes one of the most powerful parts of your career.

Not because you’re asking for favors but because you’ve built real connections along the way.

Schedule a consultation here to hear what else I wish I had understood a little earlier.
